It adds iCloud and iCloud Photo Sharing functions to the program. It uses the same file formats as Photoshop and has many of the same features. At the bottom are a series of available brushes, called tool presets, whose purpose is to change the colors of the image. You can change their opacity, which ranges from completely transparent to opaque.

You can also change the brush size, based on both size and the level of opacity. Photoshop ships with 16 tool presets. You can apply one or several tool presets to an existing image layer. You then use the Layer tools to make layers of your own, which you can put in front of or behind the tool preset layers.
